Everything about generating GST-compliant taxi invoices, cab bills, and rental/tour receipts; managing subscriptions, drivers, expenses, and vehicle logbooks with TaxiInvoiceMaker.
TaxiInvoiceMaker is a taxi invoice generator and billing software built specifically for taxi drivers, cab operators, tour & travel agencies, and car rental businesses. It creates professional, GST-compliant tax invoices for one-way trips, round trips, rentals, and airport transfers, and tracks drivers, expenses, and vehicle logbooks in one place. It's available as an Android mobile app and as this web-based billing panel, both connected to the same account and invoice history.
Independent taxi and cab drivers, tour and travel operators, car rental businesses, corporate cab fleets, and outstation taxi services who need to generate professional invoices or receipts for customers instead of handwritten bills or manual Excel sheets. It suits both single-driver operators and small businesses managing multiple drivers and vehicles.
No. You can sign up and use the web billing panel independently at taxiinvoicemaker.com, or log in with the same mobile number and password you already use in the TaxiInvoiceMaker mobile app — both share the same account, invoices, customers, and subscription. Changes made on one are visible on the other immediately.
On the login page, switch to the "Sign Up" tab and enter your full name, mobile number, email (optional), country, and a password. New accounts start with 5 free invoices before a paid subscription is required — no credit card is needed to sign up.
Yes. Signup includes a country selector that sets your local currency automatically, and the billing panel supports multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, and Spanish. Invoices can be generated in your local currency regardless of country.
The mobile app is available for Android. iPhone (iOS) users, and anyone without the app installed, can use this web billing panel from any modern mobile or desktop browser instead — it covers invoice creation, history, drivers, expenses, and account management without needing to install anything.
Yes. Every new account can create 5 invoices for free before a subscription is required, with no credit card needed at signup. This lets you generate real GST-compliant invoices and test the full billing workflow before committing to a paid plan.
Go to the Create Bill tab, fill in the required fields — customer name, mobile number, pickup and drop locations, trip date, vehicle type, and total fare — then click Create Invoice. Optional details like GST, driver info, toll/parking charges, and advance payment are collapsed by default and can be expanded if needed. The total fare and GST auto-calculate from distance and rate per km. See the taxi invoice generator page for a walkthrough, or the taxi invoice & bill templates if you'd rather start from a blank format.
A receipt simply confirms a fare was paid — customer name, pickup/drop, fare and total — which is enough for most day-to-day rides. An invoice is a formal, numbered tax document with your GSTIN and tax breakdown, needed when the customer is a registered business claiming GST input credit, or when you need a proper record for your own accounting. Use the taxi receipt generator for a quick receipt, or the full invoice generator when GST or a formal record matters.
Only seven fields are mandatory: invoice date, customer name, customer mobile number, pickup location, drop location, from-date & time, vehicle type, and total fare. Every other field — driver details, GST, tolls, discounts, advance payment, and more — is optional and can be filled in only when relevant to that trip.
Yes. The "Via / Stops" field under Trip Details lets you add any number of intermediate stops to a single invoice, useful for multi-city or multi-location trips where the fare covers more than a single pickup and drop.
Yes. Open the invoice from the History tab and use the Edit button to change any field, or Delete to remove it. Deleted invoices are excluded from your invoice list and reports but are not permanently erased immediately, in case of accidental deletion.
Yes. Every invoice in History has a Print/PDF option that opens a print-ready layout in a new tab with your company logo, GST details, itemized fare breakdown, and totals — use your browser's print dialog to save it as a PDF or send it to a physical printer.
Yes. Each invoice has a "Share on WhatsApp" option that opens your device's native share sheet (or WhatsApp Web on desktop) with the invoice number, customer name, route, and total amount pre-filled, so you can send it to your customer in one tap without manually typing the details.
Each invoice is assigned a unique invoice ID automatically when it's created — you don't need to track or manually enter invoice numbers yourself. This ID appears on the printed invoice, in your History list, and is used to look up or edit that specific invoice later.
Yes. The Total Fare field auto-calculates from Distance × Rate per KM as soon as you enter both values, but it remains fully editable — you can override it manually at any point before or after the automatic calculation runs.
One Way, Round Trip, Rental, Package, Airport Pickup, and Airport Drop. Each invoice records pickup and drop locations, trip dates, and fare details appropriate to the trip type, and rental/package trips support hourly or daily rate calculations separately from per-kilometre pricing.
Select "Rental" as the trip type, then use the rental duration fields to charge by hours or days at a fixed per-unit rate, instead of the standard distance × rate-per-km calculation used for one-way and round trips.
Yes. The Fare section includes dedicated fields for toll charge, parking, night charge (with a night count), waiting time and charge, extra km and extra km charge, extra time and extra time charge, FastTag, and discount amount — each adds to or subtracts from the base fare before GST is calculated.
Yes. TaxiInvoiceMaker supports an old fuel rate, new fuel rate, and a per-km price-difference field specifically for adjusting the fare when fuel prices change during a long rental or outstation trip, plus a free-text note field to explain the adjustment on the invoice.
Yes. The Payment section has an Advance Status toggle and an Advance Amount field — when marked as advance-taken, that amount is recorded against the invoice separately from the total fare, useful for outstation and rental bookings where customers pay a deposit upfront.
Yes. Once you set your company's GST percentage in Account > GST/Tax, every invoice automatically calculates GST on the base fare (trip charge plus extra km, extra time, and night charges) and adds it to the total. IGST is calculated separately when your tax type is set to GST and an IGST percentage is entered on the invoice.
Yes. Invoices include your company's GSTIN, the customer's GST number (if provided), itemized fare and GST breakdown, invoice number and date, and company address — the standard fields required for a GST tax invoice in India for a service business such as taxi or tour operation.
GST (Goods and Services Tax) applies to intra-state trips, while IGST (Integrated GST) applies when the customer's billing state differs from your registered business state — common for outstation and interstate taxi trips. TaxiInvoiceMaker calculates whichever applies based on your company's tax type setting and the IGST percentage entered per invoice.
Yes. Currency is set per invoice (defaulting to your account's currency from signup) and can be changed to any currency code, so operators outside India can generate invoices in their local currency without any workaround.
Go to Account > GST/Tax to enter your GSTIN, select your tax type (Regular, Composition, or Unregistered), and set your default GST percentage — these values are then pulled automatically into every new invoice you create.
Yes. Upload your logo under Account > Company Details and it appears automatically on every invoice you generate afterward, in both the printed PDF and the app's invoice templates, alongside your company name, address, and GST details.
Yes, the mobile app offers several distinct invoice templates (formats) to choose from when generating or viewing an invoice, so you can pick a design that suits your brand. The web billing panel currently supports a generic print layout with more templates being added over time.
Yes. Account > Bank Details lets you store your bank name, account holder name, account number, and IFSC code, which can be included on generated invoices so customers can pay you directly via bank transfer or UPI.
Yes. Account > Invoice Terms & Conditions lets you write custom terms that automatically appear at the bottom of every generated invoice — useful for cancellation policies, payment terms, or legal disclaimers specific to your business.
Every new account gets 5 free invoices before a paid subscription is required. Once your free invoices are used and you don't have an active subscription, invoice creation is blocked with an upgrade prompt until you purchase a plan.
Plans are visible in the Subscription tab and typically include weekly, monthly, 3-month, 6-month, and yearly options, with discounted per-day pricing on longer plans. Some plans also bundle features like LogBook management. Exact pricing and current offers are shown live in the Subscription tab of your account.
Tap "Buy Now" on any plan in the Subscription tab to open a secure Razorpay checkout supporting UPI, cards, netbanking, and wallets. Once payment completes, your subscription activates immediately and unlimited invoicing resumes without needing to refresh or log in again.
You can still log in, view your invoice history, and manage your account, but creating new invoices is blocked until you renew. Renewing extends your subscription from its original expiry date if you renew before it lapses, or starts fresh from the renewal date if it has already expired.
Refund eligibility depends on the plan purchased and how much of the subscription period has elapsed. Check the Refund Policy linked from the main website, or contact support with your registered mobile number and payment details for a specific case.
Yes. Subscription payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway used widely across India for UPI, card, netbanking, and wallet transactions — TaxiInvoiceMaker never stores your card or bank login details directly.
Yes. The Drivers tab automatically lists every driver name and mobile number you've entered on invoices, along with their total bookings and revenue generated, without needing to add drivers manually first — the list builds itself from your invoice history.
Yes. The Drivers tab shows, per driver, total bookings, total revenue including GST, earnings excluding tolls/parking/GST, and driver earning amount if you record what was paid to that driver — useful for reconciling driver payouts against total trip income.
Yes. Since drivers and vehicles are recorded per invoice rather than requiring separate fleet setup, one account can track invoices, revenue, and driver performance across any number of vehicles and drivers, making it usable for small-to-mid-size fleet operators as well as single-driver businesses.
Yes. Account > Expenses lets you log cash or online expenses with an amount, date, and note, separate from customer invoices. These are subtracted from your invoice income to calculate net profit shown on the Dashboard.
Yes. The Dashboard's Net Profit figure is calculated as total invoice income minus total recorded expenses (plus tax where applicable), giving a more accurate picture of actual earnings than invoice revenue alone.
LogBook records daily vehicle usage — logbook number, vehicle category and number, driver, trip dates, and notes — separately from customer invoices, useful for maintaining vehicle-level records required for fleet management or compliance purposes.
Yes. The Dashboard supports filtering by All Time, Today, This Week, or This Month, and the invoice History list supports custom date-range filtering, so you can review income and expenses for a specific period rather than only cumulative totals.
No. Customers are captured automatically from the invoices you create — Account > Customers shows every unique customer (by mobile number) you've billed, along with their name, email, and GST number, without any separate customer-creation step.
Yes. Selecting a customer from your Customers list shows their invoice history with your business, useful for repeat customers such as corporate clients or regular outstation bookings.
Invoice, customer, and expense data is stored on TaxiInvoiceMaker's servers tied to your account, not only on your device — logging in from a new phone or browser restores your full invoice history, so you don't need to manually back up data yourself.
Your account is protected by a mobile number and password login, and each session uses a token tied to your account. We recommend not sharing your login credentials and logging out on shared or public devices using the Logout button in the top bar.
Yes. Account > Company Details lets you update your company name, address, and logo; Account > Bank Details stores your bank name, account holder, account number, and IFSC code, all of which appear automatically on generated invoices.
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, and Spanish. Use the language selector in the top-right corner to switch instantly — your choice is remembered on future visits without needing to reselect it each time.
Use the password recovery option on the login page, which sends a one-time password or reset link to your registered mobile number or email. Contact support if you no longer have access to your registered contact details.
Yes. Logging in with your mobile number and password on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop browser — gives you the same account, invoices, and settings, since data is stored centrally rather than only on one device.
Excel and Word require manually building formulas, formatting, and GST calculations for every invoice, with no automatic customer, driver, or expense tracking. TaxiInvoiceMaker auto-calculates fares and GST, keeps a searchable invoice history and customer database, and generates a consistent branded invoice in seconds instead of minutes of manual formatting per bill.
Handwritten receipt books have no GST auto-calculation, no digital record or backup, and can't be shared instantly with a customer over WhatsApp or email. TaxiInvoiceMaker produces a professional printed or digital invoice with your logo and GST details, stores every invoice searchably, and lets you resend or reprint any past invoice on demand.
For basic taxi/cab billing needs — invoicing, expense tracking, and driver revenue — TaxiInvoiceMaker covers the core workflow end to end. Larger businesses with broader accounting needs (payroll, inventory, multi-department books) may still use dedicated accounting software alongside it for those additional functions.
